Why FreeTruth Exists
For over 400 years, marginalized, specifically, Black communities have generated immense economic value—shaping culture, driving consumption, building labor markets, everyday spending and sustaining local economies—without consistently seeing that value return in visible, tangible ways communities recognize or choose.

Too often, decisions are made without real local guidance, and reinvestment is promised without proof. The result is an ongoing gap between the value communities create and the benefits they experience.
